Featured projects

  • Purpose Precinct

A place-based social enterprise precinct at Melbourne’s Queen Victoria Market designed to grow the sector and create new shared business opportunities, create inclusive job pathways, circular innovation and opportunities to engage communities.

  • Crowd Sauce

After a successful two years of our waste-saving project, Open Sauce, the project is expanding for another year. Crowd Sauce will see even more waste mapped at the Queen Victoria Markets using our established waste audit, and turned into circular products at the Purpose Precinct.

  • Green Job Pathways

The Green Job Pathways program is about training young urban farmers across partners sites, Melbourne Farmers Markets, Cultivating Community, Collingwood Children’s Farm and CERES, with support from the youth programs team at STREAT.

  • The Moving Feast Kitchen

Our new kitchen, located in the Purpose Precinct, is open. The aim of the kitchen is to divert overripe and unsold produce from stallholders at the Queen Victoria Market, and turn them into delicious long-shelf life products, to be sold in the Moving Feast Pantry.
