VU community want to see more green spaces on campus

As part of our Regenerative City Living Lab project at the Victoria University Footscray Campus, a key feature of designing the Garden Hub is to design with and for the VU community of students, staff and visitors.

In addition to a survey of more than 200 VU community members before we planted the first stage of the garden, we gathered ideas and inspiration on what could be next as part of the People, Planet and Places festival. Using this illustrated map of the area, we asked people to leave notes with their memories and suggestions for what they would like to see there.

As this garden is part of a Living Lab, we are going to continually test and try things out based on what the community needs and wants. What's clear is people really want to see more greenery... Follow along to see what we implement next.
